the Putt Putt Syndrome!

I'm listening to Alan Cognata, the Director of the Putt Putt Syndrome, Bates Classmate David Chokachi's new movie... He's being interviewed on 92 Moose in Winthrop ME this morning... The film was filmed mostly in Winthrop... And will premiere there on Feb. 6 which is Alan's wife's birthday... they just had their 5th child!

I'm only getting a chance to listen to it because we had an inch of snow last night here in Fairfax, so we have a 2 hour delay! Otherwise I would be shuttling kids to school... stuck in the Putt Putt syndrome here...

What is the Putt Putt syndrome you ask? It's what happens when you've been married awhile and you just start putt putting along... taking things for granted... going through the motions...

There's a blog for the movie, as well as a Facebook fan page...

Ducks in a row...

Theo is now 2 1/2 and is following in his big sister's footsteps yet again... Around this age, she started lining things up in size order probably due to experience with her nesting dolls and nesting blocks...I even made a book with all the pictures of her with her creations which she loved...

Now Theo has the ordering bug... everywhere i walk, there are different groups of items lined up. When I mentioned this at playgroup yesterday, a couple other moms reported that their children were also lining things up...

Unlike his sister, he will not pose with his creations!

Pumpkins!

Last fall, Zoe (then 7) put one of our many pumpkins on the ground in front of our stoop with the hopes that it would grow a pumpkin plant in the spring... well, we had a pretty mild winter...

The pumpkin plant has taken over the yard...I just picked three cute pumpkins from it and there are lots more strarting to ripen!

Gotta run...dog is barking to be let out!
